As we have all come to learn as toddlers, prevention is always better than cure. As to why, there are lots and lots of studies and researches nowadays about medicine and supplements that prevent us from getting sick. But that old adage does not only apply there, in fact, it applies to the general public. For example, when working with industrial power tools, you are introduced to lots and lots of power hazards, you have a chance of getting injured. That is because, these type of powerful, they can slice of your hand, slice of your head even, and can have other adverse effects on your body if you are not careful. These simple steps will help you be safer when dealing with these kinds of implements.

* Keep the surroundings clean. When working with these high powered instruments, it is best that the surrounding is clean and free of debris, dust and dirt. This is because, accumulation of it may damage your overall health, your respiratory system, mainly, your lungs.

* Lighting should be a priority. Never work with industrial power tools in a dimly lit area. Not only it is very hard to work with these in a dimly lit area, but it also increases your chances of getting injury.

* Do not work near explosive or flammable equipment. These instruments are really very powerful, and if you manage to start a spark, then that spark may lead to a fire.

* Spectators should be kept at a safe distance, probably about a few meters away. Children should be kept away from industrial power tools as much as possible and they should not be allowed to use them. If they are to use these electrically operated tools, make sure that they are under the supervision of a parent, guardian and if possible, an expert in handling these heavy duty implements.
