Well, have you noticed how easy it is to build up clutter in the house? Take the bedroom for instance. It seems that because the bedroom is basically out of sight to most, then some people don't mind too much making a mess in it. Or, as my mother used to say somewhat pointedly, "your bedroom's like a pigsty".
If only I had known there was a pretty simple solution to this mess. But I was a boy back then. What did I know of the world of possibilities?
Today, in my adult life, I know exactly what I would have done to convert my pigsty bedroom into .. well, something just a little bit more acceptable. I would install a wall mounted clothes rail. I know that doesn't sound very exciting, but I've only recently used one of these devices and I love it.
I recently bought a 6 foot wall mounted clothes rail for my own son's bedroom. Being reasonably handy with an electric drill and screwdriver, I installed it myself. It took a little longer than I had expected. But don't you find that with every DIY job you ever do?
Anyway, the beautiful chrome wall mounted clothes rail is now my son's pride and joy. He even puts his clothes on hangers and then hooks the hangers onto the clothes rail all by himself! This is a major breakthrough. Prior to this he viewed a coat hanger as a weapon!
Of course, his new found tidiness may have more to do with the fact that he's just started going out with his first girlfriend.
