subject: 3 Little Known Internet Marketing Myths [print this page]

Many thousands, if not millions, of people have discovered how to earn a living with Internet marketing; yet the net abounds with so many untruths it's not funny, so we'll be discussing some of them right now. The Empire Formula

One of the most general Internet marketing misconceptions is that there is one secret formula that you follow in order to get rich. You will see self proclaimed Internet marketing gurus that sell eBooks that reportedly know the secret to making tons of cash on-line. However, if this was the case, it wouldn't be a secret anymore. The truth is that you will have to work to find out how Internet marketing works for your on-line business.

It requires focus, drive and tons of effort to reach the top slot. One defined true secret to Internet marketing success does not exist because each person must find out what works for them via trial and error.

Next up for myth busting is the notion that charging some arbitrary higher than usual price will make you more money. That's a myth in a lot of cases. Unless your product is actually worth the price and is over delivering in every way, you won't be able to convince your prospects to spend money on your product. Nobody wants to be overcharged for anything, which is why you should always price your product moderately so that your target market actually agrees with the price and buys your product. Some products are common sense to charge more, but not all, so the thing to do is test.

Your business will become more successful as your sales receipts continue to accumulate. Probably in the near future you will be able to make loads of cash overnight, but this usually does not happen until you have a successful business with an email list and paid advertisement. Until that day arrives, you may as well forget about making quick money overnight because you are going to have to find your own road to success with Internet marketing. The sooner you accept this, the better it will be for your on-line business.

All in all, if you want to make the most out of Internet marketing, you need to stay ahead of the crowd by ignoring such baseless rumors.
