subject: Exercise Sensation: Kettlebells Recommended By Fitness Trainers [print this page]

Kettlebells are gradually becoming the latest craze in effective weight loss. Why? So many Georgetown fitness trainers recommend them! Kettlebells are mainly designed to bulk up muscles and train endurance. Aside from these, these exercise tools are also effective in busting excess fat to achieve a slimmer body. How? Kettlebell exercises in an interval training!

First, you are going to need lighter kettlebells than you would normally swing in your "standard" workouts. Now, we want to burn fat and so we have to swing the bells more and at a faster rate. Sure you can do this with a heavy weight. Most people, however, will find that it is easier to handle interval weight training exercises with lighter kettlebells as most fitness trainers will tell you.

Of course, interval training means you will work at a specific pace for a certain duration, take a slight break, and then repeat the exercise. To do this effectively, you need to purchase a quality timer. Don't look at the time. That is not a method that is known to work because you usually end up losing track of time. Buy a decent (cheap) timer. It will serve you well. It will ensure you are working out for the proper duration needed for the workout to have a positive effect.

You will need to select the proper exercises for the interval training session. Different techniques in exercise can deliver different results. Some such as a goblet squat target the lower body to a great degree while other exercises such as a lift may hit the upper body. Basic swinging of the bells target the entire body musculature.

The key here is to pick one or more exercises. Be sure it is an exercise that can be performed at 10 - 15 reps. This is a must for fat burning. Anything less will shift the focus of the exercise's purpose to strength training or mass building. While not bad goals, we are looking towards fat burning with out interval training.

The next step needed here will be to pick the duration. What would be the best duration? This will depend on your current fitness levels and the goals you are seeking. 10-20 minutes will be fine - 30 minutes to see top results. The truth is, there will be impressive results from this exercise irregardless of the duration - you just need to be motivated enough to take part in a program.

There is a huge reason why fitness trainers speak so highly of kettlebell interval training workouts. These are top workouts that are known to deliver excellent results. Those hoping to burn off a ton of fat with little effort will find these workouts to be among the best of the best to select. That is a fact!
