But people only think about plumbing when it isn't working. An example of people who don't think about plumbing when it works would be the two young college women. They shared a house near Fort Worth. Because they were in college they had a lot to think about and plumbing was not on their list.
One night one of the girls noticed that the hot water tap in the bathroom was leaking. It wasn't just dripping a little it was pouring out hot water. She woke up the other one who suggested they just ignore it.
But Tifannye pointed out that if they didn't get the leak stopped they would have no hot showers in the morning. That devastating thought woke Madisynn Lou right up.
Normally they would have called their elderly next door neighbor for advice but it was late. And they didn't dare call the landlord either. They finally went through the Yellow Pages until they found an ad for a plumber who makes emergency calls.
When he arrived they noticed he was handsome enough to be on a recruiting poster for the Texas Rangers. He quickly and efficiently fixed the leak, charged them considerably less than an arm and a leg and left.
After he left the girls briefly considered creating another plumbing emergency. Because they would really like to see that cute plumber again. But that would have required thinking about the plumbing when it wasn't broken. That's not going to happen.
