Seinfeld is an American television sitcom which is regarded as the greatest TV series in 21 century. The show is created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David. Setting predominantly in an apartment block on New York City's Upper West Side, Seinfeld Seasons 1-9 centers on the life of four ordinary people. They do not have splendid dress or outstanding talent. Creator Jerry Seinfeld portrays himself in the show, a comedian haunting in all sorts of show places, the show's central character. Jerry has three friends, George Costanza, Elaine Benes and Cosmo Kramer. George is Jerry's best friend, a fan of the New Your Yankees; Elain is Jerry's ex-girlfriend, beautiful and assertive; Kramer is Jerry's neighbor, a wacky man. These four friends together face up to the daily life, help each other and concern about each other. These four main characters are intimate friends. However, it is just like good friends in our daily life, there seldom comes the sob scene where they express the deep friendship, directly opposed to that "you are so sweet" in Friends. Seinfeld is very different from other sitcoms --- it is a show about NOTHING. There's no theme, no main line, not trying to reveal any problems or advocate any values. Each episode is a complete story and shows the four main characters' daily life, work and so on. Jokes go throughout all the plots.
