I tried a lot of things to help my skin look fresh and healthy. I washed my face with cold water, I put honey and oats on my face, and I even slept with a strawberry mask on, etc., until I discovered a very simple balanced and tasty decision a homemade flax seed smoothie every morning.

Everybody knows that in order to attain beautiful skin, you have to eat healthy. We all know that fruit and vegetables are loaded with antioxidants, essential vitamins and minerals that make the skin look young and fresh. If you keep this in mind every time you are hungry, it will be so easy for you to look healthy and beautiful.

Today I want to present you an easy home recipe that will lead you to stunning beautiful skin in a tiny amount of your time.

Ingredients that you need:

1) 2 ripe bananas:

Bananas contain considerable amounts of vitamin B6, vitamin C and potassium. Vitamin B6 is known as "antidermatitis factor." Vitamin C is a great skin restorer; it helps produce a 'scaffolding' tissue called collagen, which is vital for keeping the complexion plump and smooth. Vitamin C reduces wrinkles and improves skin texture. Potassium helps your body to store energy for later use without converting it to fat.

2) 3 cups raw spinach:

Spinach - and other leafy greens like cabbage, kale and watercress are a great source of antioxidant vitamins A, C, E and the mineral iron - essential for keeping your blood healthy and your skin bright.

3) 1 cup organic fresh blueberries:

Blueberries are beneficial for your skin as they are super-charged with the antioxidants vitamins C and E.

4) 1 tbsp. ground flax seeds:

Omega 3 essential fatty acids such as those found in flax seed are vital for healthy skin and can benefit skin disorders such as acne, psoriasis and eczema.

5) 1/2 cup of water or orange juice

6) 4-5 ice cubes to make your smoothie cool and fresh.

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for 3 minutes. Then enjoy!

Drink this vital smoothie every morning and you will see the results right the way. Your skin will glow with health and beauty.
