Fullerton Beach is located across from the Lincoln Park Zoo and can be a quieter beach option because of this. You will find many families here. This is a sandy beach and is usually less crowded if you walk further down from the vendors.
North Avenue Beach offers a great look at the city of Chicago because of its curved shoreline. This is the beach to go to if you want to meet people. Sand volleyball is all over and there is a beach house here.
Ohio Street Beach is located next to Navy Pier and isnt quite as popular as the other beaches but this can be an advantage for some travelers. The pier offers food and restrooms.
