Rialto dvd's are great when you know what you are looking for, or when you actually try to watch them more often than what you may do already. Why is it that people would prefer to buy a Hollywood blockbuster that will leave them feeling hallow and angry when you could watch a rialto film that could quite easily move you to tears, make you love and hate at the same time and make you remember it for all time. This is what you get with rialto films for the most part and they truly pride themselves on telling a story and developing characters that you will remember forever. It is hard to break away from the normal movies you usually watch and not all rialto movies are good ones. That is why when you tend to watch one that does not agree with you, you might form an opinion about all films like that and stay away from them for good.
How many blockbusters have you watched that you just did not like the least bit? And how many times after those movies have you rented or bought a movie of the same genre? If you can watch blockbusters again and again and be disappointed by some of them, then why not give other movies a chance also? Promoting does a lot for movies and making us want to watch them. If we have not heard about a movie or have not seen a critique on it at all then we assume that it cannot be good at all and why would we waste our time on watching it at all?
We need to broaden our horizons when it comes to watching movies and make sure that we pick ones that can leave a good taste in our mouths and make us want to go back for more. There are websites and reviews on the internet for those type of movies that can give us a little more direction, so we know what we should be looking for.
