Some people state that they are absolutely useless, others are sure that scientific work may never be completed without additional financing. It should be mentioned that if scientific grants exists, they are important. Many people managed to discover something only due to the fact that the research they conducted was financed additionally. Furthermore, grants for research work presuppose spending much money, but a lot of companies are interested in it. It should be mentioned that grants may be provided by different organizations, like Universities, profit and non-profit organizations within the country and even international investors. Due to the fact that quarrels about the importance of grants continue, we decided to create a list of arguments why students need those and which influence they provide on the whole society.
1.There are a lot of students who have many different ideas which can be used in research, but still, they are unable to conduct it because they do not have enough money. Equipment and other materials are rather expensive and there is no opportunity to buy those. In this case grants are to the point.
2.There are cases when some companies need some information in a specific sphere, for example in biology. But, such research is not conducted as nobody is interested in such information. Thus, the company may offer a grant to those who want to conduct a research in this particular sphere.
3.Students can have an opportunity to show that they can do more than their financial possibilities allow them. Sometimes grants are offered in the sphere which has already been explored with the purpose to see whether students knowledge is deep enough to be employed or not.
