Orders seem to be pouring in for IceWEB, a leading provider of Unified Data Storage and building blocks for cloud storage networks. The company announced today that it had received a contract for a storage solution from one of its partners in the South East region. According to this contract, IceWEB would be providing a storage solution to a Water Resource Management Public Utility and this would be used for analyzing and storing data for watersheds, resource management, and water conservation.

Steve Gill, IceWEB Southeast Channel Manager said, "Our partner has identified a unique market opportunity in the public water utility space. There are an estimated 52,000 community water systems in the United States serving over 300 million people. Once the deployment of this initial system is successful, we plan on rolling out a national joint marketing program with our partner to penetrate the water utility vertical."

Earlier this month, IceWEB had received an order for a Storage Appliance Data Refresh to be installed for an S&P 500 company, through one of its strategic partners. In addition, IceWEB was also contracted to supply their server and storage platform solutions from one of the world's leading telecommunication companies. IceWEB has also managed to secure considerable business from the Federal Government.

IceWEB received a 96 terabyte storage system order from Channel Partner Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, for use by a United States Government Agency. Then on September 9th, IceWEB announced that it had been selected by the U.S. Department of the Interior to manage and store critical geospatial data.

The deals keep coming. IceWEB's Channel Partner (ICP), Video Bank, has secured a contract with the Federal Government in which a 48TB IceWEB 5000 would be deployed with VideoBank's leading Video Management Platform.

The month of September has held a plethora of announcements from IceWEB as the company takes more and more new orders from a variety of industries, and most importantly, secured big contracts from the Federal Government.

Shares of IceWEB are currently trading up $.02, or about 8% at $.25 a share on about a 10th of the daily average volume.
