subject: What Makes A Great Affiliate Network? Part 2 [print this page] In my last article I discussed What Makes a Great Affiliate Network. I gave three main points including useability, success, and interface which make up a great affiliate network.
Here I will give three more points that make up a great affiliate network: New, Affiliate Network Manager, Helpful.
New: So some of you may think that age makes a great affiliate network. However, I'm here to dispute that argument. A New Affiliate Network can most likely be the best. They have new offers, care more about their affiliates, and arent just thinking about money. It may be a low blow, but I think most big affiliate networks arent really thinking about their affiliates. Its more about how much money, "Each Number," I.E. you can make them. This concept leads me to my next point: new affiliate networks take the time to get to know each and every affiliate.
AM: Have you ever had issues with your Affiliate Manager? I think pretty much everyone has. However, with new affiliate networks they more often then not have a great affiliate manager. Why do I think they have to have a great AM? Well obviously because he or she is doing a hundred things at once to expand their network. But once the network is huge they can be more lenient with who they hire to be an AM. Personally I think an AM makes or breaks an affiliate network.
Helpful: This point is pretty straightforward. A great affiliate network helps you. If you call the AM, they actually give you a call back that day or within the hour. A great affiliate networks takes time to help out each affiliate with anything they need.
My overall point is that new affiliate networks can be great. An example would be Underground Elephant. With a great AM-Boone Riddle, we help you with anything and everything.
