Stephen Curry, Point Guard, Golden State Warriors: Curry was fantastic over the second half of last season and should be a first-round pick in 2010-11. He produces in every category and shoots phenomenal percentages. There's a good chance that he crosses over into the elite category of fantasy players. He should help the Warriors sell a ton of NBA tickets this season.
Al Jefferson, Power Forward/Center, Utah Jazz: Jefferson had a solid 2009-10, but he was still recovering from knee surgery. There's a good chance that 2010-11 will be the first time he's actually 100 percent healthy since his injury and the Jazz - and his fantasy owner - could reap the benefits. Jefferson is one of the best post players in the game and was putting together a monster fantasy season in 2008-09 before going down. If he returns to form, he'll be a 20-10 machine that can be relied upon nightly.
Al Horford, Power Forward/Center, Atlanta Hawks: Horford has flashed his offensive potential while contributing on the boards and defensively thus far in his career. Word is that he's been focusing on his offensive game this offseason and the results could give his fantasy stock a major boost. He'll still be stuck playing out of position this season, as the Hawks lack a true center, but he should see his numbers improve regardless. If he eventually moves to the four, he could become a stud.
Andrea Bargnani, Power Forward/Center, Toronto Raptors: Bargnani will be the go-to guy in Toronto in the wake of Chris Bosh's departure. He's actually been a pretty solid fantasy player over the past two seasons and could be in for a breakout year in 2009-10. He'll be getting more attention from opposing defenses, but his versatility makes him an intriguing fantasy option.
Darren Collison, Point Guard, Indiana Pacers: Collison played extremely well when Chris Paul went down with an injury last season, especially for a rookie. Shipped to Indiana in the offseason, Collison now has his own starting gig and should be a stabilizing force for the Pacers. It might take him a little while to adjust to his new system and team, but he and Danny Granger are expected to be a big part of this team now and moving forward.
LaMarcus Aldridge, Power Forward, Portland Trail Blazers: Aldridge hit a bit of a plateau over the past couple of seasons, but could be in for a big year in 2010-11. The knock on Aldridge has always been that he's a bit soft on the interior. To remedy that, Aldridge has reportedly added 20 pounds of muscle this offseason and spent significant time working on his post game. The results could be huge.
Kevin Love, Power Forward, Minnesota Timberwolves: With Al Jefferson in Utah, Love will finally get a starting job. Love is the best player on the Wolves and should lead the team in both scoring and rebounding. His above average shooting stroke and passing ability should make him a breakout fantasy player.
Anthony Randolph, Forward, New York Knicks: Randolph has a world of potential and could finally begin to realize it in a system that seems to be a perfect fit for a player of his physical attributes.
