subject: What Video Game Titles Really Price The Common Human Being [print this page]

I've been meaning to write this for any lengthy time because I've played numerous hrs of video video games in my lifetime. In truth, I've possibly played very many. I wager I've lost many months or a lot more of my existence to sitting in front of a tv becoming entertained by some shifting pictures and also the noises of gunfire or football.

It's really sad due to the reality if I had place all of that time to something more helpful I'd a completely unique individual by now I'd imagine. I could be fitter, happier, better looking, or simply you realize maybe wealthy. I do not know in which I will be.

What I do know is the fact that I could have spent time on a Total Gym 3000 to get in shape and so on. Instead, I sat around and accomplished a full lot of nothing.

What's the point of lifestyle if you aren't even willing to live it right? I guess that is what most people are missing out on. Video video games and television are making people fat, stupid and lazy. There is just no way around it.

Look at how considerably time people spend playing the average RPG? A normal Japanese RPG game is some thing like 40 hours long. Think about that. It's almost two complete days of your existence spent playing a game with no real reward monetary or otherwise for your time. The average worker would get say $400 for that amount of work.

So, think about the math. That kind of game cost you $60, plus the $400 worth of time, so each game like that is costing you perhaps $500 or more. Some video games are even worse.

World of Warcraft is most likely the worst kind of game in this regard. To get a character towards the maximum level takes over 100 hrs. Over a year, hardcore Warcraft players can be expected to log 200 or more hours. That's like five weeks worth of real work.

I am not going to go ahead and calculate to you how considerably that is costing Warcraft players. Let's say it's literally thousands of dollars every year. It's not just not worth it, it's fiscally idiotic.

Unfortunately, aside from spending all that time when they could be making money, video gamers are also getting way out of shape costing them even considerably more money due to health care expenses. It's completely tragic, but even worse, nobody seems to care or even see it as a problem
