subject: Things To Know About Romance [print this page]

There's something about a man in uniform that get's a woman's attention. I first noticed it when I came home on leave for the first time and attended a community dance. I was the envy of every other male in the room because so many women were enamored by my birthday suit. It came as a shock because girls never found me attractive before. After a few minutes, I did not mind.

Spitting Game I met my wife there at the dancing establishment. But, she was the only woman there that did not swoon toward me! I was the one who had to win her heart. (I later found out that she did notice, but was determined not to inflate my ego any further.)

Herein began my lifelong learning on how to be romantic. You see, there's a whole lot more to romance than wearing a cool uniform or paying special attention at Valentines, birthdays, anniversaries and holidays. In fact I find these events quite bothersome because they often lower the dance of romance to a guilt-ridden, money sucking kind of phoniness. Spending loot on your honey can be wise at times but it should never compensate for other problems in your relationship.

Being romantic has much more to do with the way you make her feel than what you say. And to do that you have to awaken your inner romantic.

Being in love is the equivalent of an unhealthy obsession. You search for things you can do to make her feel special. So if you want a lifetime of love, always be in this state of romance. You think you have a good routine worked out? Scrap it! Repetition kills romance.

Modern relations between men and women are in dire need of fixing. Thanks to the advice I am providing, you will no longer be a lonely sap for the rest of your life.

The advice I am about to give will be the equivalent of a non-stop ticket to the epicenter of love. This advice will be helpful in every romantic situation, not just exclusive partnerships.

Make romance a number 1 priority

You need to slow down the pace of your life and start noticing the finer things. For you men out there, this is not mushy stuff, this is just how natural living really feels like. Good luck being romantic when you cannot be romantic with yourself. You must walk to walk before you can talk the talk.

2. Be Creatively Thoughtful:

Once in a while turn down the game and listen to what she's actually saying. Tell her what it is about her that you really like. Go above and beyond the things you would normally do for her. Get creative here: a single favorite flower, a short poem, a special errand, an unexpected gesture, and so on. As you practice, these simple ideas will keep multiplying and you'll never be at a loss.

3. Show Your Affection:

Be mindful of the things she prefers. Don't be afraid to show your love in front of your friends or hers. Demonstrate your passion in public: hold hands, give her bottom a light spank, cop a feel, or just say some kind words about her. You'll get to know what pleases her. For instance, I quickly learned that Gertie hates being whistled at in public, it embarrasses her and makes her feel cheap.

Sticking to these pieces of advice will lead safely to the promised land. I put my reputation on the line behind these words. It works even if you are no Casanova. Expect to be treated in the same candor. So go for it. You have your whole life ahead of you!
