Meditation is an ancient art form that has been practiced for centuries, with origins in the Eastern part of the world. However, India is being a prime example of it where the basic use of mediation is as a form of healing and positive feeling. It often feels like nowadays people have not enough time to get for meditation and because of it they feel tiredness, stressful and unhappy in their life. This is not a right path for our life. We should take out some few minutes from our whole day life for self to do meditation which makes our life calmer and more focused.

Techniques of meditation

The first and foremost meditation technique is to sit or lying in a relaxed position with the eyes closed.

Next, take a Breathe in a deep enough to receive enough oxygen. However, when breathing out, relax the muscles so that the lungs are well emptied, but without straining.

Now, stop thinking about everyday matters and problems.

And start concentrate on your thoughts upon a certain image or sound. Then all of your attention should be pointing to that object.

Moreover, if other thoughts try to step in, you simple return to the object of meditation. Movement meditation incorporates mindfulness with motion.p

Squat down and allow your limbs to loosen and shake and swing them to release tension.

Benefits of Meditation techniques:

It brings about feelings of self control and confidence.

It increases the concentration power, reduced stress and better relationships levels to name just a few.

Meditation also reduces anxiety attacks by lowering the levels of blood lactate.

Enhances the immune system. However in research, it has revealed that meditation increases the activity of 'natural-killer cells', which kill cancer cells and bacteria.

It also increases serotonin production which influences behavior and mood. Low levels of serotonin are associated with obesity, depression, headaches and insomnia.
