In case haven't heard, organic products are becoming more and more popular and so too is the organic mattress. If you haven't

heard of an organic mattress, it is a mattress that contains no synthetic materials and only contains purely organic

materials.

Frequently, synthetic mattresses are manufactured mostly from polyurethane foam. There are many cases where polyurethane foam

has been shown to result in severe allergic reactions. Therefore, if you suffer from allergies, an organic mattress might

just be able to provide you with the allergy relief you have been looking for. Relief from allergies is just one way that an

organic mattress is far superior to a synthetic mattress. There are numerous other reasons why an organic mattress is

preferred over a standard synthetic mattress.

An organic mattress is completely made from natural materials. These natural materials that an organic mattress is typically

made from include cotton, natural latex, and wool, usually from New Zealand and France. Natural wool has been shown to repel

dust mites which help those people who suffer from allergies and who have allergies to dust. An organic mattress is

environmentally friendly and free of chemicals and safe for both children and adults to sleep on.

In addition to an organic mattress being safe for the environment and the whole family, they also are able to breathe. Latex

can sometimes be uncomfortable to sleep on in humid and hot weather since the material can't breathe and results in the

sleeper sweating. Organic mattresses will help you to stay comfortable in spite of the weather since the material will

breathe and therefore not cause you to become too sticky or hot. .

Although there are numerous mattresses that proudly display the organic label, but you need to be careful because not all of

them may really be organic. A real organic mattress contains no chemicals and only contains natural materials. There are some

organic mattresses that have been found to contain formaldehyde in order for them to be fire retardant. In addition, some

mattresses may be coated with polyester to make the cleaning of the surface easier or be plastic coated to render the

mattress waterproof. These mattresses aren't really organic mattresses. When you go out to buy an organic mattress, ensure

that you don't get one with added chemicals of synthetic materials. Make sure that you find a real organic mattress made only

from totally natural materials.
