subject: The Fedha Tree [print this page] Some twelve years ago a seed was planted in my soil and as with all plants a small shoot emerged, this shoot grew and started producing a few leaves. These leaves absorbed some of the gases in the atmosphere which produced some fruit which ripened and I placed it in a basket.
As well as producing a few leaves the shoot also produced some branches which also grew leaves and fruit. Over the years the tree has continued to grow, new branches have grown producing leaves which have helped produce more and more fruit.
Now as we all know there can be bad weather and my tree has come through some major storms, it has lost leaves and some branches but it continues to grow and grow, and the fruit it produces increases every year.
One of the main reasons that the tree survives so well is its root structure. Although virtually out of sight, I know it is there, and if it was possible to get a side on picture of the tree and its roots, you would see that the roots are in fact much bigger than the tree itself, which is why the tree has survived all that the weather can throw at it..
Now of course the roots are very important, as not only do they support the tree structurally but they also feed the tree with water and nutrients.
In the early years it needed a fare amount of care and attention, but now it is so large I can leave it for long periods in the certain knowledge that provided I care for it occasionally it will continue to grow and produce fruit.
SO WHY AM I TELLING YOU THIS?
Well let's change some of the words.
The seed was an idea and the soil was my mind. So I was given a business idea which I thought about and started, the small shoot was my fledgling business, the leaves were ways that people, the gases in the atmosphere, became customers. They used the services, the fruit, which ripened when the customers paid their bills, and the money was paid into the bank, the basket.
The branches were other people who saw the opportunity that this business offered, and they duplicated exactly what I had done, they got some customers, who paid their bills and the bank accounts increased.
Now I said that the leaves only absorbed a little of the gases in the atmosphere. Now if the atmosphere gases were all people, then the leaves, or rather the business, only requires a very small number of people to become customers. Unfortunately, though, there are always changes going on in the world, the storms. People change ideas, move, retire and even die which is why branches break or leaves fall. But life continues and the tree continues to flourish.
So what is it that gives the tree or business the power to continue growing? Well of course it is the root structure, through the roots all the advice and help, the water, flows into the trunk, together with all the marketing, product servicing and customer care, the nutrients. My root structure is composed of some of the most successful highest earning people in the business and I get all the help and advice I could wish for.
Yes any business in its early years requires lots of care and attention, you must have drive and determination and an excellent work ethic, but in time you will find that the business reaches a level where it continues to grow without your close attention provided you have taught all the people who have joined the business properly.
So why have I called this the FEDHA TREE?
Well although I am Scottish, I was born under an African sun, so I went back there to one of the languages of that country and FEDHA is Swahili for money.
This is the story of a money tree, or rather a business opportunity which is available for anybody who would really like to change something in their life, be it extra income, financial freedom, to own your own business, have more spare time, personal development, just helping others, meeting new people or just to leave a legacy.
