The Nokia 6720 classic is available on Telstra's Next G network, so its a HSDPA-capable phone running on the 850MHz network band. Wi-Fi is lacking on this handset however Bluetooth with A2DP and USB connectivity are present.

The 6720 classic comes with Telstras Next G free to browse section featuring movie times, news and weather, stock market prices, city search, Yellow pages, WhereIs maps as well as pay for content such as: Mobile Foxtel, BigPond TV and internet browsing.

The Nokia 6720 has been awarded the blue tick by Telstra meaning it's recommended for use in rural and regional areas of Australia.

Voice calls are crystal clear thanks to the 6720's noise-cancellation feature.

Text messaging and email felt a bit awkward at first until we were used to the keypad.

The keys and the keypad on the Nokia 6720 are a bit on the small side at first but after getting used to the layout smsing will be a breeze.

Nokia estimates extended battery life at 5.5 hours of talk-time. The 6720 features a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. The 3.5mm headphone jack provides the phone with a reasonable MP3 play back the included 1GB micro SD card should satisfy most storage needs. An FM radio is also included in the 6720s arsenal.
