This is the same river that carved out the Grand Canyon, and in the Moab area, it can be a wild ride. For those not wanting to be drenched, a scenic tour, lasting several hours and including a lunch or dinner might be a better option, and during the summer seasons, there are also scenic night time tours, combining light and shadow and giving the tourist a unique perspective.
