subject: Other Places In San Antonio [print this page]

While staying in your San Antonio hotel, you have a various choice of places which you can visit. If you're lucky, you may find that some of them aren't found by too many visitors yet. They are like interesting hidden places which only the most adventurous people can find. Hey, if you are one of them, then you can surely continue reading. These sites are interesting enough to visit:

The Market Square

This is the largest Mexican marketplace that's actually not in Mexico. It is so big that you can walk in it for hours. There are many shops and restaurants there. It is really something to see.

Natural Bridge Caverns

This is actually the longest soda straw formation in the whole of North America. It is really worth visiting. Plus, there is a cool rock shop in these caverns. If you rent some mining equipment there, you can take a treasure hunt. And what you find there is yours.

If you really have the courage, take a tour around around the caverns. I suggest you take the Adventure tour in that case. It is full of adventures. While in full caving gear, you will find yourself coming down with a rope through a very narrow shaft.

Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch

This is an open Texas style ranch. You can watch animals while you take a drive through it. At the entrance, you can get food for the animals. There are two interesting places at this ranch and they are open every day. It is a Petting Zoo and Walk-a-bout. From antelopes to ostriches, you can find more than 50 various animal species there. You also get to see nature in its most pure form. Also, you get everything in the tour, including births of animals, different mating rituals of the animal world, and sights of combats.
