In fact the most intriguing feature of the HICC main hall just may be its roof which comes complete with dimmable halogen lights as well as catwalks and truss that can hold an array of lighting and other hefty equipment. At a height of 12.5 meters the roof extends 14.1 meters above the catwalk while the 6400m2 of the hall floor is embedded with cable, phone, water and power lines.
The hall's fixed seating arrangement has 650 seats on the first level complemented by 8 corporate lounges and two audio/visual control rooms which look over the central stage. Sixteen registration terminals and a 500 person capacity reception area are also available at the ground floor of the HICC which also houses a business centre with 38 CC TVs and dual plasma screens for organizers.
The first level also features a breathtaking Glass Board Room which affords stunning views over the lake and exhibition space where events can be held in either indoor or outdoor settings. Dual lifts take one to the second floor where six boardrooms and meeting spaces are found along with four individual breakout rooms and speaker preparation rooms.
Other facilities at the HICC include a swimming pool and a parking lot which can accommodate 1000 vehicles. ATM facilities, loading docks and stores are also available at the venue which is also equipped with 100% power back-up generator capabilities.
