Leather working and Skinning
The aforementioned careers are the most suited selection for the Rogue class because they are wearing leather. And to mention that Skinning is the profession that is so easy to level up and in perfect par with leather working. If a Rogue toon picks this combination, no regrets will befall on him.
Through leather working, Rogues can come up with their own armor while leveling also once they re already on higher stages, epic armor sets can also be made by them. A Rouge can create Armor Kits if he is a Leather worker.
The said kits are used to heighten stats of the user's armor and also can be sold at the Auction House. One of the most interesting things that a Rouge Leather worker can create is the Icescale Leg Armor. This improvement can be attached on your pants to enhance your stats like the critical strike and attack power ratings, which are important for a Rouge.
If you dig the PVP mode, then the one for you is the Earthen Leg Armor. this one can enhance your toon's stamina by 38 plus a rating of 40 for Resilience. Leather working is effortless to level for you since all you need are the skins of the creatures which you already availed by Skinning.
Another one that the Rogues love is the buff called Master of Anatomy that gives them a wonderful +32 on critical strike and this tags along with Skinning as one of your primary profession.
Engineering and Mining
One of the generally used careers of the Rogue class is Engineering. While Mining is its best partner and lets you level up faster. There is a defense that you can get with Mining, and that is Tough, which will increase your stamina by 50.
In Engineering, any Rouge can craft Weakness Spectralizers, these are wonderful head equipments with a Meta socket and is so full of stats. They also have Healing injector kits which will help them save space in their bags.
Then there is the Gnomish Army Knife, which is the reason why your allies will love you. Through it, you can resurrect a dead mate, but it is forbidden to use it while the war is going on.
But you are a Rouge, thus you can easily slip into hiding (stealth) mode which you could use when you see that your team is almost finished, then you can revive your dead healer and your team will be saved also you just helped them save time from running to their cadavers.
Other
You already know by now that Alchemy and Herbalism is a nice team-up to any character because of their skill to craft potions, flasks, and elixirs which are so useful during PVE mode, if you desire to do raids and run instances.
Life blood is a defense that comes along with Herbalism, which will allow you to heal for 2000 in over 5 seconds, which can also be utilized while in discreet or invisible mode. This is enticing for Rogues who only have bandages for healing.
Then we have Blacksmithing, this is desirable for the toons who opts to become Weapon Masters so that they can craft arms for their own consumption. Yes, this profession is best suited for the plate wearers, yet once a Rogue is on the higher ranks, there won't be any problem with this.
Jewel crafting proved to be beneficial as well since with it you can make tons and tons of gems that are unique and that you yourself could only equip which will then boost your arms to acquire higher stats.
