subject: An Assessment Of Usana [print this page]

Following are some important facts about the health and nutrition, network marketing company, Usana From the outset I will state that I am not a member of this company so will give you a neutral review.

What is Usana?

They are an MLM health product company, formulated in 1992 by Myron Wentz Ph.d who is an internationally recognized microbiologist, immunologist, and pioneer in the development of human cell culture technology and infectious disease diagnoses.

Having one of the most proven track records in the industry, Usana have also improved their reputation by contributing to important charities, the most notable being The Children's Hunger Fund. Over 8 million dollars has been donated to the charity, resulting in aid to thousands of malnourished children around the world

If you buy any of Usana's products then you can be sure of getting good quality and also a wide range. They have food supplements for athletes and dieters, plus a full range of vitamins and skin & hair care products. If you take the time to look at their corporate company website, I'm sure you will be impressed with just how many products they actually have!

What's the compensation plan like?

As far as commission payouts go, they are one of the highest paying in existence, with 45 cents of every dollar going back to back into the distributor network. The commission structure is a binary. If a binary is new to you, then you would be well advised to take some time to do your research as they can be complicated to understand. Many recruiters will attempt to 'wow' newbie's with the prospect of spill over commissions, giving the impression that you can just sign up and make money out of thin air. Balancing your left and right legs is the only way to qualify from such payments. So of course it won't just happen on its own.

Can you make any money with Usana?

Many people are making money with Usana and their website states that the average full time, establish associate makes around $85,000 per year. It is often more difficult however to build a team for a company that's been around for a long time. Plus you are battling against the fact that the MLM market is saturated with 'Juice & Pill' companies, there seems to be a new one popping up every week.

However Usana have a solid history of success and respect within the industry. They will be around for a long time yet.

Society as a whole has become resistant to health and nutrition companies over the years. People have been pitched left right and center with the latest fat loss shakes and pills, energy drinks, super vitamins etc.... You will need to find a way to cut through this resistance.

I have not personally used any of Usana's products so I can't comment specifically on the quality although the word on the street is that they are pretty darn good.
