Funny, this is one of the few addictions that I did not have a problem with. My roommate would be in his room for hours and hours at a time looking at porn, and masturbating. he was a really good guy, got good grades in school, and girls actually WANTED TO GO OUT WITH HIM. It really blew my mind that he would spend all of his time looking at porn.

I used to tell him that he needed to get help. He would tell me "no way"..."there is no way I am going to sit in a rooom with a bunch of perverts talking about my probelm:"

Honestly I didn't blame him, I wouldn't want to sit aroun all day talking about it either. This is an excellent guide. It helps you overcome your pornography addiction without feeling terrible about yourself. It outlines a simple program for life that is not humiliating and does not shame the porn addict.

The fact of the matter is, porn is everywhere on the internet. Some say it makes up over HALF OF THE INTERNET. That is kind of ridiculous. So its not the easiest thing to stay away from. Its not like the alcoholic who just needs to stop walking into the liquor store.

I have great faith in this bok and would recommend it to anyone seeking recovery from porn addiction. It does take determination and strict adherence to the program. This book is NOT FOR EVERYONE. If you are comfortable going to group therapy to talk about your porn addiction, this is not for you. Otherwise, proceed to the book and you will thank me.
