There is a very popular trick that many beginners can be seen performing and it is called the three sixty turn. These riders will coast along the shore and begin to place one of their hands into the watery sand that is underneath them. As they do this, they will typically start to turn around in full circles and many bystanders find it to be quite impressive.

Another very commonly seen trick is typically referred to as the board drop. The most advanced forms of this trick very very similar to the skate boarding trick that is called the kick flip. A person leaps from their board while allowing it to flip or turn, from under their feet, only to land safely on it. When performed wrong, the boarder will usually either slip on fall.
