subject: Jewelry Stores Have Wonderful Gifts [print this page]

There are certain moments in life when it is important to tell someone how much they mean to you. For a college graduation gift I was presented with an exquisite Swiss timepiece from a well known designer. Marking the accomplishment of spending four years studying hard and working toward my degree my wife and I made a visit to one of the jewelry stores Orange County has to offer and selected a stainless steel wristwatch that featured 18 karat gold links. The dial too was accented with gold markers that represented each hour that was then enclosed in a bezel that framed the face of the watch with roman numerals and more golden fittings. At the time we were able to justify the purchase as it was of equal value to the bridal ring set that I had bought for my wife at the time of our engagement.

For many people the cost of a fine piece of jewelry indicates their affection and appreciation of a special person in their life. Not knowing that I was going to propose when I did, I had not made any plans to purchase an engagement ring or wedding band. After my girlfriend said yes to my spur of the moment proposal we had the opportunity to share the experience of shopping for her ring together. Visiting a number of the jewelry stores Orange County has in abundance, we finally settled on a rather unique looking setting. A 24 karat gold band that had a twist to it rose up to meet the diamond that was inserted into the prongs. As if being cradled between the two sides of twisting gold band the main diamond was highlighted by three smaller stones on either side of the setting (for a total of six).

As we searched for a unique engagement ring that was as special as my bride to be, we stopped at every one of the jewelry stores we could find in Orange County. It took us two days of hunting high and low to finally land on a setting that complemented our love and I willingly handed over the money for the ring set that I had saved up for. A couple of years later when I graduated from college my wife made the suggestion that we buy a wristwatch that was as magnificent and meaningful as the ring that she was wearing. After finals were completed we once again went out together to find a suitable graduation gift that marked another milestone in our relationship. Searching this time in only one of the jewelry stores Orange County has available to consumers, we found the perfect gift that was an ideal complement to the ring that I had purchased two years earlier.
