Social networking games are increasingly becoming popular and many of them

have become an essential part of our everyday life. Farmville is one of such

games on Facebook. Farmville is about building and decorating your farm the

way you like and to stay in touch with all your Facebook friends in the process.

The Basics

The interface of Farmville is very simple. It consists of a bar displaying your

neighbors on the bottom of the screen, on the right side of which is a six-button

panel with three tools, the achievement ribbons button, the market button

and the gift box button.

The tool buttons consist of a cursor button, which obviously restores the cursor

to its original arrow-like shape. You can click and drag to move your viewpoint

on the screen. This button is extended further as a multi-purpose one, giving you

access to the Harvester and Seeder vehicles in the game.

The plow button allows you to plow a patch of fallow land on your farm, which

can afterwards be planted with seeds. The plow button is extended further to

allow you to select the Tractor, which can plow the fields on your farm much

more efficiently.

The third tool is the delete button, which obviously allows you to remove any

object from your farm which you don't like. Apart from that, the market button,

the ribbons button and the gift box button display the respective windows

on the screen, which feature some of the necessary functions of the game.

On the top of the screen, the number of coins, the amount of Farmville cash,

your experience points progress bar with the level indicator, the message

button and the name of the current farm on the screen are displayed.

Learn to Use the Tools Efficiently

As you spend more time playing the game, learn to familiarize yourself with how

the tools work. As you master to use your tools, you can save a lot of time and

unnecessary clicks as you build your farm.
