subject: Your Favorite Super Nintendo Games [print this page]

Super Nintendo games tend to make a child or even an adult use his or her imagination more. To illustrate, let's take the most famous game that was played on the Super Nintendo console, Mario. You cannot wait for the story to finish and you go through hoops and tunnels just to do it. It didn't matter that the graphics did not include noses on the human characters. In your head, Mario looked so cool as he earned more life when he gobbled up the green mushroom without getting caught by the turtles under the sea. With the simple game play, you can use your imagination more.

Super Nintendo games are games you would gladly teach your kids. So many of us fans of Super Nintendo games are still hooked.

Favorite Super Nintendo Games

Secret of Mana (Square)

Mixed reviews of SOM will never make me want to quit the game. The graphics are notable for a SNES game. Gameplay, with its real time battle style (similar to the Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening) really was a breath of fresh air since I can avoid battles whenever I want. If you're tired of random battles, then SOM is for you. The party mode enables you to interact with a few friends while playing SOM together.

The game play was a classic. Unforgettable NPCs, breathtaking vistas and unique critters to smash makes SoM an unforgettable experience.

Castlevania IV

One of the most gorgeous 2D platform action games ever to be created. The new functions in gaming during that time were first used in Castlevania. My favorite gaming moment in Castlevania was allowing a Belmont to use the whip as a shield. Great graphics, Stellar soundtrack, awesome controls and timeless game play are the things that describe castlevania IV best.
