Dreams apparent our concerns and fearsDreams apparent our concerns and fears. It is said that Satan sometimes comes to us in our dreams as well. For years, human beings have used dreams or visions to behold on their lives. Christianity, among other religions, believed that dreams guide us. High priests used to interpret dreams but theres no solid evidence that the interpretations of dreams were accurate.

Christianity is just one of the many religions in the world that gives great importance to biblical dreams. Biblical dreams are broken down into two types: Warning and Prophetic.

Prophetic dreams, also known as precognitive dreams, are said to have a direct connection to the dreamer. These dreams are about events before they happen. 42% of people say that they dream about something that later happened. According to the Bible, anyone can have this type of dream. Unfortunately, the meanings of these dreams are unclear and would need interpretation. An example of a prophetic dream is about Golfer Jack Nicklaus dream. He found a new way to hold his golf club in a dream. Abraham Lincoln was said to have dreamed of his own death a few days before his was assassinated. Despite what skeptics say, many people agree that prophetic dreams foretell the future.

Warning dreams usually do not warn the dreamer themselves but rather the dreamers family and friends. It is not certain why these types of dreams happen to some people. Whether the warnings happen or not, we all know that dreams happen for a reason. So better be extra cautious. You might want to warn your loved ones about your dream. Christianity interprets that warning dreams may be used to warn the dreamer about a family member or a friends who is experiencing some troubles. It is also believed that these dreams are messages from God and warns us on what may happen in the future. The problem about warning dreams is that you dont know when the warnings are going to come. So follow your instincts. There will always be a part of you which tells you not to do this or that. Gut feel is sometimes a good way to avoid trouble.

What about the symbols we see in our dreams? Symbols are just images with utmost importance to people who involve in Christian Dream Interpretation. We call these symbols dream symbols. Using dream symbols dates back to the pre-historic times when people would use drawings or symbols to convey their messages, and talk about their dreams. Harps, angels, and ants are just examples of dream symbols which are now explained by Christianity.
