It's awesome. As September 30 fast approaches I'm sure Andy will reveal more information about what his software actually does. While this is the closet you will ever get to work getting done for you for what seems like doing nothing, it can be a little over powering if you don't have a game plan in tact.
Even if you search online you're really not going to find anything else like this. Honestly I think you could put your time to better use. Of course I believe whole-heatedly in JV Genie. Several IMers got the chance to beta test the software to make sure it was good to go. Several positive comments came back. People spoke with excitement and couldn't believe the possibilities. JV Genie is the perfect compliment to a training course like Jeff Walker's Product Launch Formula.
JV Genie by far from some cheap software easily would sell as a stand alone product. JV Genie with out a doubt will save you time and money - and the frustration from virtually managing yet another unqualified outsourcer. You'll get exactly what you are looking for each and every time practically. JV Genie by itself though, without some involvement on your part, will do you no good.
I am not familiar with your computer skill levels or learning abilities. Granted there will be plenty of support behind it (fortunately).
How does JV Genie operate then?
I'm sure you are a busy person. Imagine instead of hunting through Bing, Google and Yahoo (as all three search engines can produce very different results) you have JV Genie do it for you. It can take the work of an outsourcer working 8 hours a day and cut it down to about one hour or less. A lot of this depends upon how much information you want to search for.
It's going to take work to find those right partnerships where you can actually benefit from.
You can of course do this kind of information research on your own. You will wade through countless different search results, then you need to hunt for the contact information and who knows if you will ever find the correct information to begin with. So it's back to square one.

From the video, this is what I picked up on how to operate JV Genie.
You are not limited in the number of campaign searches you do.
1. Create a campaign.
2. Put something in the description box so you can identify it.
3. Enter the keywords you think are ideal for finding JV partners or affiliates. It uses Google, Yahoo and Bing to do the heavy lifting.
4. You can designate how many sites, such as 10 or 25, to come back once the search is completed.
How would you like to know the Alexa rank, PR and monthly traffic all on one screen for 25 of the top competitors in Google?
How handy would that be for a getting a hold of a hard to reach affiliate?
