subject: Three Explanations Why Fat Burners Shouldn't Be Taken When You're Near Your Bedtime [print this page]

Most fat burners explain to you at the back of their labels not to take these things 4 hours before your bedtime. This time allowance may seem to be a bit too high. After all, some people may choose to want to work out at night since that may be their only chance to get in some exercise for their bodies. Well, if you're stuck at work for the better part of the day, it's something that you have to get used to. So begs the question, why shouldn't you be using your fat burners at night if it's near your bedtime already?

If you need all the sleep you can get.

Fat burners usually contain high amounts of caffeine in every capsule. That means you are going to have loads and loads of energy and restlessness for you for a couple of hours before your body calls it quits. Now if you don't have to get up early, sleeping late shouldn't be a problem. But if you are a working man and you need to get up in the morning this is going to pose a few problems for you.

You always need to get the right amount of sleep And that means a solid 8 hours of some much needed rest. While you sleep, your body, despite being in a relaxed state, is still actually hard at work repairing itself so you can recover enough to be able to feel right as rain when you get up. If you don't have enough sleep, your body won't be able to recover enough. So it is your call; a good night's work out or a good night's sleep.

An elevated heart rate will give you some unnecessary worrying.

If you are taking fat burners just for the sake of suppressing your hunger, it is going to be quite a risk strategy for you to be taking fat burners before dinner. If you do take it before dinner, you only have a couple of hours before you go to bed. Try it out, and you'll find that you will end up being a bit restless when you're in bed. And with all that restlessness comes an elevated heartrate as well. And if you do not do anything to try to wear your body's energy level down, you're definitely going to be unable to get some sleep when you want to.

So if you're the type of person that's big on sleep and makes it a point to try to sleep at least seven hours a day, you should think about skipping the fat burner pill when you're close to your sleeping hours.

Fat burners at night results to less sleep

Fat burners are a great help to those who want to get in shape, but taking them at night is actually not as helpful as you may think it to be. You're never going to be able to sleep as much you would want to. If you've been reading through this, it wouldn't come as a surprise to you anymore because you will have already known that fat burners contain lots of caffeine.
