Specifications: In recent times, more and more companies are coming up with their own all-in-one desktops to rival Apple's dominance in that niche. Among them, HP is currently one of the most formidable competitors. One of my favorite all-in-one HP desktops would have to be the 23-inch HP TouchSmart 600-1050 desktop. It comes with lots of very interesting features and is very well priced. This model has a 2.1Ghz Core 2 processor, a 750GB hard drive and 4GB of DDR3 RAM. For graphics, there is the NVIDIA GeForce G200 graphics card. It also comes with 6 USB ports, a DVD drive, 6-in-1 card reader, profile 2.0 speakers, wireless connectivity and a variety of other features. The 23-inch display is a touch-screen and a full HD display (1080p). Design: The HP TouchSmart 600-1050 measures at 23 x 17.78 x 2.83 inches. This desktop sits on the table very much like a picture frame. It rests on two tiny stands below the screen and a larger one on the rear. It ships with a wireless keyboard and mouse, taking up even less precious real estate on your works space. It is mostly black in color and overall, has a very modern and sleek look. Features & Performance: The touch screen on the HP TouchSmart 600-1050 was very fun to use, especially when used with the custom HP software that comes with it. It was especially fun using the touch screen to view/organize photos and other types of multimedia. In our tests, we had no problems running a variety of everyday computing tasks. This desktop should perform flawlessly for the average PC user. The HP TouchSmart 600-1050 is also very well priced (for an all-in-one desktop with touch screen features). At the moment this desktop retails for just around $1199 each.About the Author:
