subject: Improve Yourself [print this page] When one faces a traumatic situation, dilemma, disdain, or deadlock, the easiest thing for them to do is run escape from it, discuss with their parents, pay a visit to the counsellor, try to solve it magically which is a big superstition, just pray and stay inactive which all these prove to have a healing effect for a short while but in the long run they fail to bring out the best positive effect.
Each person intereprets the problem according to his own perspective or good. A mother will just shower motherly affection, defend the child and criticize others. Sometimes even act as a psychologist. On the other hand a Psychologist usually has his or her own problems to deal with and offers either medicines or a temporary treatment method, while religion just keeps you happy for a short while and gets you so involved that you ignore the rule of moderation. The worse category is when you choose to escape from your problems, because they do not fade but remain in your subconscious mind.
Now that we are living in the 21th Century, do we still wish to be blind to our real problems and follow the same so called remedies. I don't think so. It is time to wake up. You should want to change yourself with anybodies help. First you should accept your problem, then try to change without using anybody or anything else in this process. Until and unless, you do so, you will be directing yourself to the same cycle over and over again and you will be back to stage one. So we should come out of that dream of ours and start taking care of the situation without any interference. Because, if you don't want to change yourself according to your situation and circumstances nobody can do this for you. So this is a wakeup call for people in times of misery.
