You can always change the bow with a tie and feel not only more comfortable, but definitely more modern. After all, a bow tie does send us back to the last century.
A second possibility is, if you are a young and handsome man with nothing to lose, to put on a sharp and trendy suit and add a finishing touch in the face of a bowtie. It will not only show to the others that you have a personal style, but also that you are not afraid to take a risk. The bow tie is currently considered a piece of clothing that is adding a touch of comedy into the outfit. If you can pull it off and look good in it than you will not have anything to worry about.
Variant number three is for the older men or the comedic-ones regardless of the age. Putting on a brightly coloured or funny-patterned bowtie on anything can make you look funny and a joker. Many women are able to fall in love with a man with sense of humour. So why wouldn't one try and scream aloud "I have a sense of humour!" by wearing a bright neckwear to a bar or the wedding of their best friend?
As a whole, the bow tie shows style and personal approach. If you are brave enough and put on one you risk being ridiculed, but you may also attract wanted attention and become the heart of the company. However, even if the bow tie is not your cup of tea, you can always exchange it with a necktie or a typical cravat, depending on your personal tastes and the occasion. However, you should not forget that being attractive does not necessarily mean buying the most fashionable clothes, but also adding a few finishing touches that make your styling pop out.
