You cheaters -- it's not such a bad word when you're talking about videogames -- probably know that InterAct went the way of the dodo recently. Before sinking they pawned off the GameShark brand to raise some last minute cash and Mad Catz was there with a cool five million to scoop up the tradition. However, there was a chunk of time in which GameSharks weren't being made, which meant trouble for you code addicts. Thankfully, CodeJunkies saw this is a perfect time to push their Action Replay, so you had an option.
Here is a review of the Action Replay DS by Datel. This little unit allows you to cheat to your hearts content though just about any game on your Nintendo DS. Unlocking content, and even modifying the game is now merely a few button presses away. Who said cheaters never prosper? Is this product going to steal your heart, or will it leave you lying on the floor weeping in sorrow
If you've ever used a "game enhancer" then you know why you'd buy an Action Replay: CODES. Like its predecessors and the alternatives, the Action Replay is loaded with codes and cheats for just about any game you might be looking for. I've no idea how many codes come pre-loaded, but it's "more than 10,000" according to the official site. One look at the library and there's no doubt that CodeJunkies did their homework. In a random search, I brought up Onimusha 2 and there were 236 codes. 236. Of course, not every game has that many, but the list is replete with everything from new characters to infinite amounts of resources to physics tweaks to god knows what.
