subject: No Stitch Haloween Costumes You Could Make [print this page]

There's beginning in the form of nip at night air and the days are getting shorter. Outside the town, farmers are bringing in their crops and the pumpkins are starting to show color. That may mean only 1 thing ; Haloween is just round the corner. It's time to start considering Haloween costumes.

Costumes for youngsters are frequently easy to make. They should be the most recent super-hero. Occasionally it is just simpler to buy the costume and get on with life for these sorts of requests. as you youngsters reach their teenage years they frequently still need to dress up, but now need something creative rather than another costume off the shelf. These are some ideas for no sew Haloween costumes.

First, keep in mind that costumes don't have to be put together to last for all eternity. If a costume takes the night time, that might be the single time it is ever worn. You'll find so many things that may be done with gaffer tape, iron on fusible web and safety pins.

Yearly, one of my children wore a white tee shirt with a massive yellow circle that had been cut from felt and ironed onto it using the fusible web. Her younger sister tagged along in her ordinary college garments, carried a joke book and told a sad joke at every house at which they stopped. Their costume was ham and eggs naturally.

Another year my girl decided that she'd like to dress as a cup of Starbucks Coffee. For this costume, we took a white round plastic washing hamper and cut about 3 inches off the bottom. The leftover hamper without the bottom then had a sleeve attached to cover the holes in the basket. The sleeve was created from brown wrapping paper and attached with clear scotch tape. The Starbucks brand was copied and pasted to a picture on a home PC to be printed. The brand was cut from the paper and attached to the sleeve with glue. Cotton yarn made great suspenders to hold the cup prepared. A wrapping paper tube was involved with red cellophane and attached to the reversed bottom of the basket which served as a lid for the coffee cup. This was attached to her head with additional cotton yarn as a hat.

The creative costume didn't require any stitching and was a success.

On other occasions, our youngsters have even mixed vacations. One year a kid wearing green sweats. Circles of felt were attached all over the body of the sweats and some battery-powered Christmas light were worn as a necklace. In each hand he carried one of the lower branches from a synthetic Xmas tree, as he was after all a Xmas tree.

Whatever Haloween costume you select be certain to have a great time in the vacation. If you selected to go from house to house to trick or treat or you selected to go to a costume party, the whole vacation should be about having a good time.
