Life Coaching allows you to build a strong foundation in order to achieve more happiness and success in your life. By building a strong foundation, you allow yourself to whether the storms of life and keep moving forward with momentum. In order to build the strongest foundation, you need to Master you Mind, Body and Emotions.

Mind Mastery

Mental strength will get you through most problems you face in life. Take a guy like Lance Armstrong; before he was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer he had never won a Tour De France (the most gruelling sports event in the world). He successfully beat cancer and won a record seven Tour De France's, after this lengthy ordeal. Lance said that through shear mental determination he was able to push through the physical pain barrier and achieve his dreams. The pain he'd been through while trying to beat cancer had made him so mentally strong, he believed he could do anything!

It's funny how so many of great people that have walked this planet have been through some kind of adversity. The adversity they've all faced tested them mentally and ultimately strengthened their minds for success. Other names that spring to mind are; Nelson Mandela, Muhammad Ali, Mother Theresa and Helen Keller, the list goes on.

Body Mastery

By achieving physical health and vitality in our bodies, we give ourselves an amazing amount of energy to achieve our life's desires. Most of us take our health for granted, we smoke and drink too much, we eat too much junk food and don't do enough exercise. Sure it may seem fine when we're young, but all these things catch up to us and we end of with diseases and the inability to carry out normal daily functions. Think of how de-motivated you are when you're really sick. Now imagine having this feeling all the time! It makes it hard to imagine achieving much happiness and success while feeling sick and tired.

Therefore by keeping your body in Peak Physical condition by exercising, eating good foods, hydrating and getting enough rest, you give yourself the best opportunity to achieve all your goals and dreams.

Emotional Mastery

Everything we do in our lives can be boiled down to a feeling or emotion we're searching for. When you say you want more money; it's not the money you really want, it's the feeling money will give you. It may give the feeling of security, freedom, pride or the ability to give. The same is true about everything else you want in your life. The material things you want make you feel a certain way and thus by finding the emotions you want, you're able to know what you're really after. You want more of the empowering emotions of love, joy, excitement and happiness and less of the disempowering emotions of depression, frustration, fear and anger.

The great thing is you can condition yourself into a Peak Emotional State whenever you desire, simply by changing your physiology and your focus. When you jump up, put your shoulders back and put a smile on your face, you change your physiology which allows you to feel great. Try going for a run; while running, standing up straight and breathing deep, it's physiologically impossible to be depressed or have any negative emotions.

When you change what your mind focuses on, you can snap yourself out of a negative state and into a positive one. Think of a time you were having a few negative thoughts that allowed you to feel terrible. As soon as you changed your focus by going shopping, reading, playing sport or watching a movie, your focused shifted and you to felt differently. The great thing is, you can get yourself into a Peak State in a heartbeat and by practising it over and over, you'll make a habit out of feeling great!

Practice mastering each of these areas and you'll create a foundation for success. The storms in your life will come and when this strong foundation is in place, you can weather these storms, stand strong and keep moving forward. So many people neglect spending time on their mind and emotions as they don't notice any aesthetic change, and just focus on having a great body, because it looks good. Your mind and emotions need constant attention too. It's like going to the gym everyday and building a muscle, if you don't use it, you lose it. The same is true about your mind and emotions; you need to spend time feeding your mind with great books and practice having more of the emotions that will drive you to take more action. When you Master these three areas, life becomes more fun and you have more time to enjoy doing the things you love.
