subject: What's The Best Computer Speakers For Your Situation [print this page]

A major output device that we all use everyday when on the computer is our computer speakers. Computer speakers allow for us to hear the music, noise, dings and buzzes that our computers playback while browsing the Internet or watching a movie or something of the sort. Generally there is a spot in the back of every computer or laptop with a green outline around it for the plug. It is a 3.5 mm hole for your 3.5 mm jack attached to the speakers. The other cord coming from your speakers goes into an outlet. Of course the better quality of speakers that you purchase, the louder they will playback sound for you.

Speakers for you computer come in two different types and that is wireless and wired speakers. The main different of course is the fact that one has more wires than the other This limits the places to move your speakers, how far they can go and many other factors. While both types are great for various people and for a variety of reasons, one may or may not be for you. We now come to the main question; which type is the type for you?

Speakers that are wired have quite a few benefits for a lot of people. They are easily affordable because the cheapest ones are only a few bucks; which are great for students or anyone on a budget. These wired speakers are also amazing for people who just like to listen to music in one particular room. These speakers plug into an outlet as well as into the back of your computer to your 3.5 mm jack. Their down fall is that their not easily movable without unplugging and re wiring everything or moving your computer altogether.

On the other hand, wireless speakers give you a more hassle free time because the only plug is the one that is ran into the outlet. This makes it much easier to hear music and move your speakers to another room if you want to take a shower but do not have a laptop or want to cook and hear your music. The downfall however for some people is the fact that these speakers generally cost a great deal of money. While a regular set of speakers can be bought for a few bucks, wireless speakers do not tend to go for less than a large sum of money.

Now we come to the major question, which one is the one for you? Well, that is simple, which one sounds like you? Weigh some of the main points to each one as well as the major cons and pros to see which benefits you more. If you are constantly moving around your home to clean or study, dance or work out then wireless speakers are the way to go. They have a lager price tag so save up some extra cash, but they will work wonders. However, if you generally have your computer in the same place and are only listening to music while in that place like a study or bed room then there is on point on spending all of that extra money. Get yourself a pair of cheaper wired speakers and enjoy the sound where you are at! No need to spend extra money if you are not going to indulge in it completely.

The prices between these two types of speakers can vary drastically. You can get a set of wired speakers for a mere $15.00 or less. On the other hand, if you are interested in a pair of wireless speakers you will be spending at least $50 bucks for a decent pair.

Local smaller retail stores typically carry wired speakers for your computer as well as larger retail stores. Wireless speakers however are only typically carried in larger retail stores and not so often if ever in smaller retail stores. You can however purchase both online if you do not have time for a store.

Both of these two different computer speakers have a variety of benefits and downfalls. For those who are interested in a cheap solution and do not move their computers often, wired speakers are the way to go. For individuals who prefer quality and are always on the go then wireless speakers are there to save the day.
