Focus provides a wide range of engineering Western Canada services that meet every client's need. They can monitor a community's air quality and administer engineering solutions that make every citizen's breath a fresh one. They can assess a contaminated oil, gas, commercial or industrial site and provide quick and effective remediation. They can even provide landscape architecture consultations for parks, schools, industrial, residential and commercial locations. From wastewater treatment and stormwater management to community infrastructure and First Nations consulting, Focus's engineering BC and engineering Alberta abilities are boundless.
An important project undertaken by Focus is the Bear Mountain Resort in Victoria, one of British Columbia's largest resort developments. Engineering BC landscapes is not an easy task; Bear Mountain is built on rocky, mountainous terrain. In order to make the resort possible, Focus administered a number of engineering services, such as drainage reports, water-network analysis, construction management, land surveys and project management.
Another important engineering BC job that Focus has undertaken is managing the Highway 15 Improvement Program, which increased the efficiency of one of the primary trade routes between Canada and the United States. For their role in this engineering Western Canada project, Focus received the first place award for Project Management and Specialized Engineering Services from the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.
In the time to come, Focus aims to continue to employ the brightest and most capable employees available. In 2010, it is their goal to become one of Canada's Top 100 Employers. To meet the future engineering needs of clients, Focus is committed to steadily expanding their knowledge and skills.
