Life is the teacher of all of us. In the late period of life of any person, he or she determined his or her views of the world. The difference between them is the accumulated knowledge and experiences through culture and belief. They have in common, however, the feeling of dissatisfaction of the world around them. This feeling increases the gap between those who know and those who do not know. Not in terms of education, but in terms of affiliation. Therefore, the laws of logic have to be the measure of people values toward justice and equality as human beings rather than nationalities, religions, or races. This supreme position cannot be reached easily, and if it was reached, it leads to more dissatisfaction, but filled with hope.
In the history of humanity, both categories (the retirees and philosophers) were neglected when it comes to politics and strategic planning for the years ahead. This mistake is leading the world toward selfishness and greediness of nation's and one's self.
Satisfaction, however, in my belief is intrinsic, rather than extrinsic. While both are important, feeling free to say what you want and what you think according to your understanding and knowledge, is a strong factor in self-satisfaction. Because it describes things and ideas in a logical form when you write or say about. For the two categories, a factor of fear release also contribute in fulfilling self-satisfaction. Because their affiliation jump over any ideology or dogmatic thinking. Even though, it will be described as the scientific dogma, compared with the spiritual and religious one.
In the meantime, in my case, I am not affiliated to any organization except retirees and philosophers, if you will. They both are suffering the deterioration of justice in the world they live in. If this affiliation is a stigma, these days as always was in history, the least enjoyable thing for them (retirees and philosophers) to do, is to give the best they have in terms of knowledge and understanding, even though people don't read, or don't listen. If one person believes in what you write, it is a victory for them.
While retirees, any one can sympathize with them, because every one will reach it if she/he still alive to reach that age, but philosophers have the stigma of craziness and despair, because they see what others did not see (or don't want to see). As prophets and wise (hu)men across history. Their greatness is not in their personalities, but rather in their ideas to change the wrong world to be right. They are recognized for their self-integrity and pride.
Recognition of their efforts (retirees and philosophers) and achievement need political, or social, or communal affiliation, but any affiliation is biased or affected by ideologies which I raise myself high from it. I am affiliated to my self, to my expertise, and to my humble knowledge. I know myself very well, and reflect my thinking in America, the supposed free world. Where the law is the supreme power until spoiled with politics and ideologies. Being in America, is a third factor completes satisfaction for retirees and philosophers.
