To start off, the SR5 utilizes a KWA 2GX gearbox and a 2G high performance bucking system that will launch the ammunition at 350 feet per second when using.2g pellets. The gun is a full alloy construction, weighing in at a robust 6.3 pounds, moderate in weight for AEG airsoft rifles. It also features a machined and extruded 5 inch aluminum fore-end tube with four rails.

This electric airsoft rifle will fire in both the semi automatic and fully automatic modes. The hop up is adjustable, making the dialing in process smooth, and the sights are the adjustable flip-up style. The rail system is a free float, making this a versatile weapon.

To make this airsoft electric rifle even more versatile, the buttstock is totally adjustable from 25 inches when retracted to 28 1/2 inches when totally extended. The buttstock has an integrated battery compartment, which accepts a butterfly type 9.6 volt battery.

Now, as with most of the newer AEG airsoft rifles, the KWA does not include the battery or charger. This allows the shooter to customize the gun to their wants and needs. The slower velocity of the ammunition is of not great importance, as this is a CQB type rifle. In close quarters, the speed is not as important as the accuracy.

The gun is ready for any optics or accessories that you might want to install on it, making this gun very versatile. Upon firing, the gun produces a loudness factor of 3, which is just below the moderate range for airsoft rifles.

Included with the SR5 airsoft electric rifle is a high capacity magazine capable of holding 350 rounds of ammunition. As always, it is a good idea to invest in a second magazine if you are going to be skirmishing with friends.
