subject: Sytrinol- Benfits and Functioning [print this page]

Sytrinol is a formula derived from extracts of natural citrus and palm fruit. It contains polymethoxynated flavones from citrus (PMFs) and delta, gamma and alpha tocotrienols from palm fruit which have potent anti-oxidant properties.

Heart disease is one of the major causes of death in modern times. High cholesterol is the key factor in many cardiac arrests. This is because cholesterol, a waxy substance produced in the liver cannot be dissolved in blood. It has to be transported from cell to cell by lipoproteins. Too much of LDL or low density lipoproteins leads to the accumulation of cholesterol in the arterial walls. Together with other substances, this cholesterol forms a thick plaqye which clogs the arteries leading to atherosclerosis. HDL or high density lipoproteins helps to protect against heart disease by breaking down the plaque and transporting the cholesterol back to the liver for disposal. Triglycerides are a form of fat in the body leading to obesity. High triglyceride levels lead to high LDL (bad cholesterol) and low HDL (good cholesterol).

How it works?

Sytrinol uses three mechanisms to aid in cholesterol reduction:

1. Total cholesterol reduction Tocotrienols work on the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase which is responsible for producing cholesterol. However, their action is different from that of statins, which have harmful side effects. Sytrinol reduces the amount of the enzyme necessary for synthesis of cholesterol by increasing the rate of degradation of the enzyme.

2. LDL reduction PMFs reduce levels of apoprotein B which is needed for syntheis of LDL cholesterol.

3. Triglyceride reduction - Diacylglycerol acetyl transferase is an enzyme needed by the liver to produce triglycerides. PMFs like tangeretin and nobiletin decrease this enzyme.

In addition to this, Sytrinol has anti - inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties too.

Studies have shown that in a 12 week placebo controlled group of people with moderately high cholesterol, those who were given Sytrinol showed a drop of 30% in total cholesterol, 27% in LDL cholesterol, 34% in triglyceride level and an increase of 4% in HDL levels.

Benefits of Sytrinol

Health conscious people are looking for natural, safe means of combating high cholesterol. The liver produces 80% of the total cholesterol, so it makes better sense to use a product which degrades and reduces the level of HMG-CoA reductase enzyme. It has no effect on the productio of the co-enzyme CoQ10 unlike statin drugs. Therefore, it is very reliable and safe Sytrinol.

In addition to reducing cholesterol, Sytrinol's multi-benefit profile as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant help the body maintain good health. It has shown itself to be a superior therapy when compared to other natural heart related neutraceutical products.

Heart disease can come knocking at anyone's door. Cholesterol proves to be a risk factor, so, people who are above the age of 40 should take care by taking natural supplements which also have other cardiac benefits.
