You could enjoy walking in the countryside, try your hand at a new sport such as trekking, hiking or you might like to get out on the mountain bikes and explore even more. Whatever you choose to do you can be sure that by the evening you will have deserved to have a good meal and maybe a glass or two of something cold. Of course if you want to be really sure of how much and what you are eating then you might want to consider the self catering holidays and on these holidays you can take your food with you and this means you can regulate exactly what you eat.

Another option is to stay closer to home and take your family pet with you; if you have a dog then you can head off on a dog friendly holiday. This type of holiday has loads of benefits, firstly the faithful poach will need walking during the day and this means you can get out and about, explore and enjoy long walks with the dog, and this is all good exercise. If you are on a health kick it is vital to not let a vacation get in the way of your overall goal, and with loads of great holidays available you can still have a great time away.

You will find the range of holiday choices really is extensive, and there is a great deal of options available to you and something you will really enjoy. Many of the holiday operators have now caught on to the fact that people enjoy being more active and that is why there are plenty of holiday and vacation options for you.
