subject: Web Browsing And Swoopo Bidding [print this page]

As we do our bids on the auctions in Swoopo, we cannot avoid at times not browsing on other sites as we cast our bids. We all want to have the smoothest experience while bidding in Swoopo but it is easier said than done. Because of that, I have written a few guidelines that you can follow to correct your ways of browsing the web while bidding in Swoopo.

We start with the proper use of the browser software like Firefox, IE, etc. The usage of these browsers at a minimum is recommended. What that means is avoid using too much add-ons and other not-so-important browser plugin and stuff. The result of that too much use is the slow down of your browsing and may cause lag times.

Also, it is suggested to open it in a separate new window and not on the same tab to that of the auction window in cases you want to open other websites. If it is possible and okay with you, open it in different browser software. We can have for example, use Chrome for bidding in Swoopo and Firefox for the other sites.

On the type of sites to browse, take note that you browse only those sites which would not affect or lag the auctions. Sites such as video streaming sites and those that are connection intensive should be avoided. This also would not only help you in the auction but also make you focus on it and keep away from the distracting results of watching the video while bidding.

In cases you really needed to view a video from a client, open a separate window and stream it ahead before you start bidding on your auctions.

Also in a similar fashion regarding focus, avoid opening social network sites like Facebook. It is because sometimes it can be avoided that a friend or a relative might chat you or you might lose your attention on the news feed or posted random stuff.

I hope these simple reminders help you guide on your bidding. Remember that it is not all the time we know the best time to bid on Swoopo but simple bidding practices matter on improving your Swoopo bidding strategy. Until next post.
