subject: Reverse Grip Push Downs For Helping Women Get Toned And Defined [print this page] Many highly visible women have recently been sporting very defined arms. Michelle Obama and Madonna immediately come to mind, among many others. How do they do it you might ask?
In fact, knowing which exercises are effective and which are not is just as important as eating right. Unfortunately, most women are absolutely confused about which exercises are best.
All the misinformation out there is the main cause of this mass confusion. And your arms are not benefitting from any of this. In response to this issue, I have decided to review a ton of arm exercises for women.
Today, I will be reviewing reverse push downs to get rid of arm jiggle:
1. Overview: Few women actually do this exercise because it requires putting your wrists in an awkward position. This exercise mainly targets the medial part of the triceps which makes up the inner part of your arm.
2. Technical snap shot: Find a machine with a high pulley. Grasp the bar with an underhand grip. Keep your elbows locked to your sides. Bring the bar down and squeeze your triceps. Then slowly let the bar up.
3. Common mistakes: Letting the chest cave in and the shoulders come forward. Using a jerking motion to get the bar up and down. Not keeping the weight of the body on the heel of the foot. And grabbing the bar too hard which can cause substantial wrist pain.
4. Bottom line: This would be a great exercise if it weren't for the weight limitation. Because of the underhand grip, it's virtually impossible to use heavy loads. And heavy loads are essential for the fastest arm toning.
Don't be discouraged by all the information out there. They key is to take action on the right information very quickly. This is called speed of implementation. And the most successful people have the highest speeds of implementation. If you want sexy and toned arms, and if you want to get rid of arm fat, stick to basic exercises that allow you to use heavy weights!
Also, make sure you put this information into practice. If you don't, you will most likely forget it.
