subject: Always Feeling Tired? Actions You Should Try To Do [print this page]

Tiredness is reaching epidemic levelsTiredness is reaching epidemic levels. As medical problems go this is one of the fastest growing. What is hard about is that you have to fight the cause and not the effect which makes it really difficult. This means that a lot of people end up suffering from being always tired.

What is the first thing you should do if you are always tired? Without a doubt you should go to the doctors or a qualified medical practitioner. They can do a number of tests to see if you are suffering from any physical problems. If a physical problem can be found then this is only the beginning. You then need to find a solution.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of some physical problems can cause you to be always feeling tired...

Heart disease. Sleeping disorder such as sleep apnoea. Allergic to certain food groups. Anaemia.

If the doctor can't find anything wrong with you then you shouldn't get upset about that. This is a good thing. It means that there probably isn't anything serious causing you to be always tired.

Don't give up just yet because you can try certain things for yourself. Firstly, you should improve your diet. You should do this no matter how good you think it is now. You need to eat more fruit and vegetables. Aim for a minimum of 5 a day and at the same time cut out all the fatty foods.

Rather than sleeping more why not try an afternoon nap. This is all that a lot of people need if they are always tired. You shouldn't do it in the evening because it will affect your night time sleep. Make sure you have your nap prior to 3pm and make sure it doesn't last longer than 30 minutes.

I understand that when you are always feeling tired you become very frustrated. The key thing is not the give up and keep trying different solutions. Don't just give up if the first thing you try doesn't work. The reason I know is because I have been there too. I nearly gave up but I came through it in the end.
