Success isn't reserved for a privilege fewSuccess isn't reserved for a privilege few. It comes from building specific habits and following through on them in a consistent way. Everyone has the ability to be successful in every single area of their life. Sucessful people adopt a specific personality profile. They think, talk and act in certain particular ways. All of which can be condensed into 7 success principles. Act on them and you will become a winner like other successful people! Here are the 7 success principles:

Success Principle # 1 - Set a clear vision.

This is where success starts. Think through and develop a clear vision of what exactly you want to achieve in your life. An example is you want to be a plastic surgeon and carry this clear vision in your brain every day, all day long.

Success Principle #2 - Define solid goals.

The vision you've created is your final destination which in our example is to be a surgeon. The goal defines the journey, both short and long term, you need to take in order to get to the destination. Using the example, assuming you have just completed your bachelor's degree, what you would do next is to enroll in a course in a junior college that on completion will qualify you to pursue a course in medicine in a university.

Other consideration for the journey includes the need to obtain or set aside the necessary finance to complete your medical studies in the university. These short term goals need to be thought through for you to get to your final destination. Short term goals are like the resources you need to reach your final destination. Your goals have to be measurable, attainable, timely, specific, and realistic. They are the smaller pieces needed to complete your puzzle.

Success Principle # 3 - Plan your work and work your plan.

Put together a plan to reach all of your goals. If the task is huge, breaking it down into smaller tasks is important. You may have to take detours or additional time to reach one of your smaller goals. It's ok if that happens. Do it. An example is if you did not do well in one course in junior college, which is a compulsory subject for entry to the university medical course. You may have to do supplemental studies or repeat that course. Be conscious of your vision at all times. When you act with determination, faith, persistence and in alignement with your goals, there is only one outcome - success in getting what you want.

Success Principle # 4 - Decide to act.

Make a firm commitment to action. Once you start acting, keep doing it and don't ever give up. Once you lose commitment, your belief becomes shaky and unstable. If you do that, your effort would just fall off like a deck of cards. All of the energy and time you spent in your efforts would be wasted. Stay committed.

Refuse to give up until you obtain what you want. Attack every obstacle that you may encounter. Persistence and faith in your dreams are keys to your success. Treat every failure or obstacle as a learning experience or opportunity.

Success Principle # 5 - Use positive affirmations.

Form and write your positive affirmations that supports the vision you have set in # 1 using short positive direct phrases in the present tense only. Repeat themt o yourself several times every day, especially before sleeping and when you wake up in the morning. Repeat your affirmations. This will help to maintain your faith and persistence!

Success Principle # 6 - Eliminate negative influence.

Avoid negative influences including people, books, articles, etc... Keep things and people around you that support your success.

Have no doubt that your dreams are reachable. Maintain your belief in a higher power inside of you that has been providing you with what you need.

Success Principle # 7 - Maintain an attitude of gratitude.

Believe that you are going to complete your vision and it will become reality. Look around you at the life you've already created for yourself and be grateful for what you have right now. Just stay grateful. Help those in need. Be kind to one and all.

Now, you know the 7 key principles of success. Act on them with persistence and faith to become truly successful.
