Opel is a highly powerful, competent and a successful international manufacturer. It started its production from sewing machines. Inspired by the success, they started manufacturing, and selling high-wheel bicycles known as penny-farthings. The first cars produced by Opel were dated back to 1899.

Opel is a private company and is a subsidiary of "General Motors "and the founder was Mr. Adam Opel. The headquarter is situated in Russelsheim in Germany. It was found on 21st January 1863.There are 13 locations of Opel situated in eight different countries. "Nick Reilly" is the current "CEO" of the Opel Company.

The NEW OPEL INSIGNIA was introduced in 2008, as a replacement of "Opel Vectra" was a huge success. The model was launched in London in the British International Motor Show.

The Opel Insignia was available for European dealerships in mid October. The following month, the Insignia was voted 2009 European Car of the Year, beating the Ford Fiesta by a mere one-vote difference.

THE NEW OPEL INSIGNIA, popularly known as Buick Regal, Chevrolet Vectra, Vauxhall Insignia and Bitter Insignia. Its Predecessors are Opel Vectra and Opel insignum.Its class is that of a large family car.

It is available in various body styles, which includes a "4 Door Sedan "and a "5 Door Stallion Wagon". It has a "GM Epsilon II "platform with a six speed manual as well as automatic transmission.

THE NEW OPEL INSIGNIA has a Wheelbase of 2,737 mm .Its length is 4,830mm, width is 1,856mm and height is 1,498mm respectively. Its Petrol version Model is 2.8 Turbo Ecotec with a "V6" Engine and provides a displacement of "2792cc".It has a horse power of 240 kW@5500 rpm with a torque of 435 N.m. It had been registered with a Top speed of 250 km/h .

The USED OPEL INSIGNIA is not in due demand considering its performance and low fuel economy. Most consumers do not prefer SECOND HAND INSIGNIA due to the unaffordable prices. Insignia is highly rated and most people would like to buy Astra rather than OPEL INSIGNIA.
