subject: Microsoft Kinect Starting in the UK on November 10 [print this page] It was a few months from Microsoft officially announced Kinect which was previously known as Natal Project. Since then, a few speculations here and there, when the traffic controller peripheral will find their way to Britain. Today, Microsoft announced the dates reported, and UK gamers should expect their living room overrun by the arm-waving friends.
Kinect will be hitting retail shelves in the U.S. on November 4. And surprisingly enough, just a week later will find the peripheral route to Britain. This is a very unprecedented move for Microsoft, as the nature of the industry typically lead to serious console version is distributed by the month, only weeks. This is usually due to the fact that the production of these units can not keep up with demand, but apparently Microsoft is doing everything to make this season good for people who want to go on board a motion controlled gaming scene.
As far as money goes, Kinect will retail around 150 euros, which puts him just under $200. Considering people are already saying that $150 controller Kinect is already too expensive, we have to wait and see what people say about prices. However, it does not seem too far way to start the international community. As regards the details of what goes in the box and what not, not quite yet a word. But, hopefully, Microsoft is planning something interesting November.
